Terms of use

• You must be 18 or over and the parent or legal guardian of any child you add. Children may not create accounts.
• You are responsible for your account and for how children use Bimbiq on your devices. Kid Mode and your parent PIN help with this: leaving Kid Mode, buying anything and changing settings all need the PIN.
• Keep your sign-in details and PIN to yourself.

A new account can make one free story and two free worksheets for one child, without a card. If a free story fails to generate, it does not count as used.

Current prices are shown in our pricing section. All prices are in US dollars.

• Credits are sold in packs. One worksheet uses 1 credit and one story uses 4 credits.
• Plans include a number of stories and worksheets per day, up to a monthly cap. The daily allowance resets at midnight in your time zone and unused allowance does not roll over.
• We use your plan allowance first, then your credits.
• If you have a nightly bedtime story turned on, it takes priority over your other uses of that day's allowance.

• A story or worksheet that fails to generate never uses allowance or credits.
• A page our safety check blocks is regenerated free of charge.
• A page you report is hidden and regenerated free of charge.
• Choosing to regenerate a page yourself uses 1 credit; regenerating a whole story costs the same as a new story.
• On the Family plan, a story starring two siblings together counts as one story.

• You can change plan, pause, or cancel from your account in a couple of taps. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If a payment fails, we give you 3 days and send reminders. After that your plan lapses and you can keep using any credits you have.
• If you move to a plan with fewer child profiles, you choose which profiles stay active. Nothing is deleted.

Stories, pictures and worksheets are created by AI and checked for safety and age fit before a child sees them. The checks are careful but not perfect. If anything looks wrong, use the report button on the page and we will hide it, replace it free of charge and review it.

You may read, download and print what you make for personal and family use, including printing copies for relatives.

• Only upload a photo of a child you are the parent or guardian of.
• Do not try to get around our safety checks or limits.
• Do not use Bimbiq to make content that is harmful, hateful, or about real people without their permission.

We will tell you by email before we make important changes to these terms. You can delete your account at any time from the privacy centre. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why.
